Schneider Electric Industry Awards
The Schneider Electric Industry Awards is a program to promote the innovative application of Schneider Electrics Solution in the Automation Industry by End Users and Integrators.
Applications close 10th April 2010.
All Schneider Electric End Users and Integration Partners are eligible to submit an application story of 750 words in the following Categories.
Energy Efficiency Award
For outstanding achievement in Energy Efficiency, such as
- reduction in emissions
- waste or energy consumption
- improving the quality of the environment as a result of implementing a Schneider Electric solution
Eg: implementing Schneider Electric Historian may have significantly reduced gaseous emissions as a result of being able to store emissions readings and being able to track trends or transgressions in real-time.
Best Practice in Safety Award
For Best Practice utilising Schneider Electric Solution in a Safety Application.
Eg: Integrated solution of Safety controllers included as part of a process system or an OEM application showing an innovative solution of SE Systems.
Operational Effectiveness Award
For outstanding achievement using a Schneider Electric solution to improve, Operational Effectiveness.
Eg: implementing Schneider Electric Ampla to gather real time information from the control system to measure and improve Downtime and Quality of Production.
Best Practice in Innovation Award
For demonstrating innovative techniques and processes in the implementation and deployment of a Schneider Electric solution across an organisation.
Eg: innovative use of CitectSCADA in an automation application; Leading edge graphics; new ways of setting up a network.
Best Return on Investment (ROI) Award
For the best measurable ROI as a result of implementing a Schneider Electric solution, such as financial return or percentage increase in productivity, yield, efficiency, quality, or uptime across an organizations site, part of a site or multiple sites. Eg, as a result of using a Schneider Electric Drives solution we were able to reduce plant energy costs by 25%.
Winners will be announced at the Schneider Electric User Conference
11th – 14th May, 2010 Sheraton on the Park, Sydney.
The Awards dinner will be held on the evening of the 11th May 2010 at the Sydney Opera House.
